  1. It's not like the adventurer sees big text above their heads when he's slaying them. The text is for the gamer to identify what he's seeing. I understand it could be what you say, and if there weren't any other issues, I'd defer to your judgement considering your moderator status, but I don't agree, that it's "clearly" deliberate. If it was so clear, we wouldn't be having this conversation. Either way, it doesn't matter. There are some issues. That's all I'm saying.
  2. Is this a thing? Is the humor being lost on me? I'm not arguing that. I'm arguing that it breaks immersion and should be fixed by someone in the community.
  3. Bought it purely to support SW. Never got around to playing it, decided to put some some time in. Some little things, I understand any fixing is on the part of the community, but really, I'm posting just to see if I'm going crazy. lol. You can all search through your own files to confirm if you care. This is not an exhaustive list, just some things I remember from playing. In no particular order: Calder (Bahgra) says giants are outside their West gate, when it should clearly be East. Scab (Spire) has an extra space after "Anyway," in his dialogue in his response to "How did you fail?". There is a village of Giants in North Avernum that, if you choose to attack the village, are incorrectly labeled as regular Cave Giants. (Dialogue before that combat sequence explains that they are a-typical. Yes, I know that even if they live in a village outside the games caves they are technically still Cave Giants due to games location. Do not argue with me on that.) Generic Gremlins in South-West Gremlin's Gold have their name in CAPS.
  4. Okay, so I just got Avadon 2 a week ago, finally got some time to play it, and I was wondering what the deal is with the Portal to Khemeria not being used in the North of The Black Fortress? Was it meant to be used but was cut? Or is it used, but I haven't seen it, since I never side with the rebels/Miranda/Dheless?
  5. Thank you all for the replies, it must have been a bug in my save, I went to a previous save, ran through the steps, and the turrets aggro'd fine. Thanks all.
  6. Hey all, I've been playing Spidweb games since Geneforge 3, and I never really never had any issues, so no need to come to the forums, but in Avadon 2 I'm having an issue with the Debtor quest. I'm at the end, when you go to the Temple of Nolus and go into her cave. There are two large rows of turrets, and they are not hostile, I go to the end, and there are bars keeping me from talking to her, I've spent quite a lot of time there trying to move around and maybe proc the turrets into aggro, but nothings. How to I continue in this quest? Am I just slow and have no idea what I'm doing? Also, at Monitor Base D, the upper right Analysis caves (for the Wandering Eye quest) are backwards, meaning that the doors are reversed, and I have no idea how to mod, so I can't even fix the linking, but the artist just made it work anyways, which I thought was funny. Also, when you go to Kostina's camp, if you disobey Odil, and wipe out the base without them, and then go back and get him, once you get to the bridge, he gives you dialog about the fort being won and telling the party to go after Kostina and kill her, then immediately teleports you to the talks with kostina, and replays the dialog for winning the fort. Should be easy fix.
