Can't say for this game specifically, but for most spiderweb games there aren't any perfect solutions to the problems in the game. The solutions are usually binary and neither one is really particularly good.

As soon as I saw that tub of water I saved then drank from it. And then that message? Ooo man. It'd be pretty disappointing if nothing happened, I think.

Well...They've all got different skill trees, and their models are the same as the PC model for the various classes but with a red shift. It never even occurred to me that the class name wasn't listed since I knew immediately what class they were by appearance.

Not sure if this is helpful, but there's a message after you hit miranda a few times in melee that you've dazed her. Like the above posters said, she can't die, but you can take her out of the fight by attacking her every few rounds. Make sure you don't attack her after that, obviously. I had my main character and my shadow walker do it, while the mage used stuff like confusion and daze.

Enter the forest south of Rockridge Keep - I've forgotten the name, but there should only be one. The portal is an obelisk that is located just to the Southeast of the north entrance to the zone. It's surrounded by trees and there's a gate to get into the portal area almost right next to the aforesaid north entrance.

I never actually finished the first Avadon. I was playing it again to try and finish it before this came out, but now it's out and I can't stop myself from playing it before finishing 1. So can someone tell me basically what happened after the third visit to the Kva? Basically, what happened with Duke Gryfyn and what happened with the Khemerian town. It seemed like the Khemerian town was going to end up burned to the ground, was it? And did Holklanda and Kellemderial give peace a chance? Also, I'm guessing the Wayfarer is Shadow Tarkus? Who was the traitor? And I guess the keep got attacked...again...due to the avadon 2 opening text. What happened there?
