Windows dicided that at startup it need to send me an error message about a program called "sex" it gives me the following error message. any one know what the hell this is? My semi-educated guess is that you went to a site (quite possibly a porn site, but that's none of my business) that forcibly downloaded spyware onto your computer, and the spyware had a bug. To do this, select run from the start menu, then type in msconfig Once you are there, goto the startup tab and uncheck the program which you think might be causing the problem. A menue pops up and you'll find the Taskmanager there. Click on it. You'll see the programs and the processes that are currently running. Anyway, the program you mention doesn't seem like the sort of thing one would run at startup. I suppose the obvious thing to do is ask everyone in the house if they've deliberately installed any such thing. If they haven't, find the program and try to get rid of it. Well, in many cases shareware programs which have been unlocked by registration keys become re-locked with new keys when transferred to a different computer. While the topic of cracks has been discussed, no one has crossed the line here and actually requested or supplied anything. There's no need to be an alarmist in this situation, RC. It finds things that even Norton Antivirus (the paid, registered version) does not. Sometime the servers are busier and it won't run, but keep trying.
