Kyshakk Koan Carranzero Posted June 25, 2016 Share Posted June 25, 2016 even though i gave my mage the "natural mage" trait, it appears that there's a limit to heavy armor, because it said "can't cast spell with bulky armor" so 2 q's - is there a visible attribute that decides what is bulky and what isnt (e.g -xx% to chance to hit)? - if so, what is the limit thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer Posted June 25, 2016 Share Posted June 25, 2016 The limit is -5% to hit chance from the sum all armor and weapon items for regular mage spells. Note some weapons like named swords and bow give to hit bonuses. Natural mage trait gives you an extra 10 or 15% towards that, I think. Jeff changed what it means in some games and in this one it was mostly gaining mage spell levels. Later in the game there are named armors that don't have to hit chance penalties.
