Burgeoning Battle Gamma ToddMcF2002
Every time I'm in combat I'm losing at least a few turns because I can't target enemies and I end up wasting APs running around like an idiot. Has anyone made this work or should I just go play my PC version?
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
It can be a problem in some of the PC games, too. The newest games now change the cursor to tell you if you are in range. Make sure the monster is highlighted before clicking.

Make sure the monster is highlighted before clicking. There is no cursor on an iPad. You "click" on things by tapping them with your finger. As far as I am aware, there is no mechanism on the iPad version that tells you if you are or are not in range when using a ranged weapon. Burgeoning Battle Gamma ToddMcF2002
Maybe a Stylus? Worth trying?
Understated Ur-Drakon Tyranicus
A stylus would register the same way a finger would.
Easygoing Eyebeast keira
I dunno if iPads have this basic feature, but on android devices you can plug in a mouse into the USB port (or a keyboard, even) and use it just like you would on a real computer. Might be worth a go.

Easygoing Eyebeast Dintiradan
Do what I did in Avadon and manually count the spaces each and every time you make a ranged attack. :|
Unflappable Drayk ĐªгŦĦ Єяŋϊε
You get used to eyeballing it
Garrulous Glaahk Painted Lady
Yes, eyeballing does get easier. The stylus is what really saves me.
