Kyshakk Koan Hyena of Ice
Do each increase initiative by 1 point? I can't even find exact info for Quick Action for any Avernum or Geneforge game, actually. Anyone know?
Kyshakk Koan Nim
QA has a bigger effect than Dex, that's actually easy to test.
Kyshakk Koan Hyena of Ice
Bigger by how much?
Kyshakk Koan Nim
G4, Torment, first Kyshakk, Servile 3 Dex + 9 QA goes first 14 Dex and 3 QA goes first G1, Torment, Ghost Western Wastes, Guardian 2 Dex + 9 QA goes first 8 Dex + 3 QA goes first Well guess I may be half right Was just some quick tests tho. And afaik luck also gives some initiative.
Kyshakk Koan Hyena of Ice
Probably needs closer comparisons-- like 2 points difference and 4 points difference (e.g. 6 dex/4 QA vs 4 Dex/6 QA)
Garrulous Glaahk Spukrian
I think that in at least some of the games, level also raises initiative.
Kyshakk Koan Hyena of Ice
^^Yeah, does seem like that might be the case. Wish we could get someone here who has seen the code to give specifics.
Kyshakk Koan Hyena of Ice
Another question: I can find all the modifiers etc. However, what is the base dodge rate in G3? Is it 0? (I know about Dex + Luck + Tiny Orb of Mist + blessing magic spells, I'm just wondering if there is a base beyond any of those) Another thing: What is the To Hit modifier for levels of Melee or Missile Weapons? All I can find is the 5% modifier for Str/Dex.
Hatchling Cockatrice Slawbug
Zero. 5%.
