Understated Ur-Drakon Earth Posted January 14, 2015 Share Posted January 14, 2015 Reinstalled Avadon 1-2 and AEFTP (after 7 months hiatus) and if I set resolution to higher than 1920*1200 games (at least AEFTP) didn't start (gave only black screen) and to be able to use computer again reset was needed. Monitor and display adapter (Radeon R9) are capable to higher resolution than 1920*1200 so lookslike game issue. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Articulate Vlish Almny Posted January 14, 2015 Share Posted January 14, 2015 Are you using a HiDPI display mode, like one might on a Retina MacBook or 4k iMac? If so, then it's not a black screen. It's just that all you see is the lower-left quadrant because the game is drawing four screen pixels for every display context pixel.
