Fledgling Fyora chook
Hey surely phones are getting big enough to play this game. I'd love To play it on the Samsung Note 4 with the stylus. BAM. I can probably do it by rooting the device and changing the build.prop... but hey why not just make it compatible! Lovin this game.... on my pc unfortunately. Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
Avernum 6 was the last "old" game that was remade to be compatible with a tablet. Jeff got a third party to make some newer games tablet compatible, but whether one will ever do another is unknown. Welcome to Spiderweb Software. Please leave your sanity at the door. Right next to the players modifying Blades of Exile to work on other platforms.
Articulate Vlish DanNeely
When the first 7" android tablets came out, I remember seeing complaints about whichever game was then current (Avadon 1?) having problems because the company that did the port only had a 9/10" tablet layout. I suspect there'd be similar problems trying to squeeze a 7" layout down on one of the current generations larger phablets. It's possible whoever does the next Android port (assuming it happens ofc) will do a set of phablet sized layouts; but I'd be really surprised if any existing titles are updated just because there isn't enough money in them any longer. However, the fact that Jeff's only talking about iPads, and not the iPhone 6+, for the iOS version makes me somewhat skeptical about the Android version going any smaller either. Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
Making an iPad port is easier because at the time there were fewer resolutions and screen sizes, and then came Retina displays. Android requires more versions so some got left out or at least weren't supported because no one tested them. Jeff didn't want to learn how to program for iOS so that's why you don't see an iPhone version.

Magnificent Ornk Swimmin' Salmon
EE - re-read the last bits of the thread where DanNeely starts talking about iOS versions and it'll make sense why Randomizer said what he did.
