Who benefits from blessings and training?

When I get training from the training person in Avadon, who does it benefit? Just the player character? What about the old woman with blessings in Tawon?

As far as anyone can tell, all of the training and blessings that show up as entries on your special items list affect the whole party.

Is there a list of the effects the woman with the blessings gives you? (the one you pay 2,000 gold for each effect). I purchased a blessing but I have no idea what the benefits are.

Training choices:

Increase melee accuracy - True arm - +2% to hit chance

Increase melee damage - Deadly arm - +2% more damage

Increase missile accuracy - True eye - +2% to hit chance

Increase missile damage - Deadly eye - +2% more damage

Increase spell damage - Spellfire - +2% more damage

Increase healing - Healing craft - +2% to your healing abilities

Increase blessings and curses - Blessings - +2% to blessings and curses you cast

It didn't occur to me to look for training I'd done under Special Items. Boy, that makes no sense. Thanks guys.
