Fledgling Fyora Raalf
Question{s} about the training available from the um.. trainer in the Beast's Woods and the mage in CastleV... Does the (expensive) training in missile/melee fighting and protection from various bad things apply ONLY to my main character..? Or to just the characters in the party when I get the training..? Or to all characters...? I've been wanting to go back and get at least the missile training for quite a while but those 3000 gold pieces keep going for other things. Now finally (just finished the Titan's Fortress) I have enough saved up to get some training/protection, but now I'm wondering if it'll be worth it now that I'fe got my DEX and protection skills fairly high. How effective is having the training/protection versus not bothering with it..? Thanks for any help..!
Garrulous Glaahk Davies
Since it shows up as a Special Item, I'm thinking it applies to everyone in your party. The bonuses are pretty small, but probably worth getting.
Unflappable Drayk Edgwyn
Unless you have been buying a lot of consumables, you are going to finish the game with a lot of money so the training certainly does not hurt.
Easygoing Eyebeast Jerakeen
And yes, everyone in the party benefits.
Hatchling Cockatrice Slawbug
The training doesn't make an enormous difference, but neither does anything else you can buy with money, if you explore areas fully and find side-quest rewards, etc. It's a nice little boost to pick up though.
