Tenderfoot Thahd ikbendeechterichard
Hi, I was wondering when the gog.com version 1.01 will be available? After 4 days it is still version 1.0 at gog.com. best regards.
Easygoing Eyebeast Jerakeen
According to Spiderweb: We have updated Avadon 2: The Corruption to v1.0.1 on our site for Macintosh and Windows. This update fixes a number of issues, including a weird bug that could make a major NPC disappear. We will update the versions on Steam, GOG.com, etc very soon. If you get Avadon 2 from our site, just download the v1.0.1 demo and install it over v1.0. This will fix the problems and not affect your registration/saved games. That's all I got. Tenderfoot Thahd ikbendeechterichard
Thank you for replying but that info was already known to me. Guess gog users have to wait a few more days.
Curious Artila Pajama
Just a quickie to let any GOG users on the forum know that the update is now available at GOG. Yay
Garrulous Glaahk Dear Potato
Mmm, the GoG update just puts a new installation executable. If I reinstall the game, the savegames would be compatible?
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
Save games should be stored elsewhere and not affected with an update even if it replaces the complete game with a new install. Some games like Geneforge 4 store the save games with the game so you have to manually copy them from the old game into the new version. Just to verify that yes, the save games are compatible. Just reinstall the new game (update), start it up and then load your game as normal and off you go Dear Potato

Seasoned Roamer yarrmateys
it's too bad the gog version doesn't have the directx exe and doesn't accept one from the original release. if someone has a gpu with poor opengl drivers such as some intel hd or amd cards, the gog release can be unplayable for them, which in my opinion is a pretty serious flaw. the only way they can get the game to work in that case is to contact spiderweb to have their authorization code ported over to the regular game.
