Garrulous Glaahk mouton
I will probably play Nethergate after I finish all endings of G5 and I intend to play both factions in succession. Which faction should I play first?
Easygoing Eyebeast Triumph
Because they have more magic, I think Celts might be slightly easier, FWIW. However, the two factions are pretty balanced. The Romans are my personal favorite. You'll have fun either way!
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
The story is slightly more understandable if you play the Romans first, but take it in whatever order you want. Romans are more fighters and Celts are more spell casters.
Understated Ur-Drakon Tyranicus
I would recommend the Romans first and then the Celts, but either one will be fine.
Burgeoning Battle Gamma Rya.Reisender
I started with Romans first but then did regret I didn't decide to go with a Singleton Roman right away, because it seemed far more enjoyable to bash through the monsters without switching to fight mode (kinda gives it a roguelike-like feeling). The story seem indeed be better when starting with Romans, though.
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
A singleton is playable, but harder for the first time since you don't know where to go to keep from dying too quickly. It takes some time to build up the character.
Magnificent Ornk nikki.
because it seemed far more enjoyable to bash through the monsters without switching to fight mode You know, you can still do that with a party of four - just walk into the enemies and you'll engage them in melee. Burgeoning Battle Gamma Rya.Reisender
Yeah but then only your main character attacks and he will be weaker that when playing alone. Also you need to protect the characters behind you.
Well-Actually War Trall Ishad Nha
Single monsters you can kill easily are meant for this, there is no need to enter fight mode when the monster can be taken down with one or two whacks. Groups of tough monsters are usually a different matter.
