Terrors Martyr

Wow, jeez! I love how the author makes a 39 town scenario with excellent graphics and a great opening plot-wise, but accidentally sets it so that the two characters you need alive at the beginning are dead by default! This scenario doesn't work, and until I hear evidence to the contrary, my brutal rating stands in revenge to my spending an hour searching the same darned fort ten times over.

SUBSTANDARD 2.2

With some testing, this would have earned a lot higher score from me. You have to edit it to be able to play forward. It's very buggy and unfinished... But the story is interesting.

Mortishire (or Absent Friends) is an enjoyable scenario except for some bugs one of which is fatal but can be manipulated in the scenario editor. The graphics bmp file needs to be renamed from abfr to abfrie to work. The fatal bug means that I could play to virtually the end but then Versin does not respond to gateway as you have been directed. There is nothing that will get you the vital special item in his dialog so as to enable the faerie portal. AVERAGE (4).
