Articulate Vlish NamelessOne
I thought this was a great game. Just finished a tough ordeal in the last scenario with a party of a nephil, slith, and 2 human spell casters. I think this might be better than original Avernum 1-3. Since I want to still play this great game, can I try the singleton? Ive heard great things about the original trilogy and soloing. I want to give it a try. Is there a preferred race to do it with or are they all pretty good based on build?
Easygoing Eyebeast keira
Uh...you know, there's a bunch of user-made scenarios for BoA, right? That's what the Blades games were designed for, the three/four shipped scenarios are just examples of what can be done. look at community reviews here: http://spiderwebforums.ipbhost.com/index.php?/forum/25-blades-of-avernum-scenario-reviews/ download scenarios here: http://blades.nethergate.net/ Tyranicus
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
The games are mostly depending on you build. Avernum 3 has some interesting dialog if you have a nephil or slith character.
Articulate Vlish NamelessOne
So if I was to take a quick look at what to use, would a fast on feet, quick strike nephil that uses swords/bows be a good choice. Maybe with priest spells as a backup. Or should I go with a slith for more burliness.
Magnificent Ornk Kelandon
You're replaying the default scenarios instead of playing the user-created ones? That seems like a waste.
Garrulous Glaahk Seasons of Destiny
I assure you that it's well worth the effort of playing the user-created scenarios. It's both a break in the tedium that is playing the same scenarios every single time, and that there are several diamonds in the rough, so to speak.
