Curious Artila cremornagainagain Posted September 5, 2012 Share Posted September 5, 2012 I know I have tried this and found it impossible, and then tried it again and found it easy. As a general thing, unlike Avernum and Geneforge (IMO), in Avadon you should just hit and hit and hit, and not bother wasting turns on bless/buff/curse. Often if I abandon all strategy and start hitting, the fight is so close to over it doesn't matter. I think the shade has a limited range that her teleport-you spell works in. If you can hem her with pets you can get a lot of ranged shots in. Then if you choose a teleporter or shadowalker to go in close they can escape the statues (if they are teleported by the shade) Ciao Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

That's possible, depending on your level and the difficulty you're playing on. She's quite beatable on Torment by about level 19 or so. If you've been skipping side quests, it might be a good idea to go back and do some before trying to complete this one. For specific tips, look here, or here.
