It goes back to table top D&D where certain undead monsters could drain away experience levels and if they took them all you became an undead too. Old school RPGs had monsters that stole food, money, gems, items from your backpack, .... Welcome to Spiderweb Software. Please leave your sanity at the door. This is you final warning.
