Tenderfoot Thahd Beluga56
There's a tribe of diseased Nephilim and a sick ice drake north of the Tower of the Magi and Fort Emerald (I think), respectively. It gives the option to heal them, but I'm unable to do it. Does anyone know if it's even possible to cure them? On a hunch, I've tried triggering the specials with the package for Dharmon and Aescal's ring present, but to no avail. Do I need graymold salve? I would hate to waste skill points on alchemy :\
Hatchling Cockatrice Slarti
It is possible to heal them. I believe you need Graymold Salve. I don't remember whether or not there's any way to obtain it without making it yourself, in E2. (However, on the plus side, E2 does feature unlimited skill points via Silverlocke, and alchemy greatly increases the resale value of any ingredients you find.) Tenderfoot Thahd Beluga56
Just tried it out using Silverlocke's potions and was able to heal them both with graymold salve, although the rewards were not at all worth the cost of the potions, particularly late in the game. It had to be done though, for the sake of completeness. Thanks!

Yes, especially when the skill gets pretty high, and you can make 2 or 3 potions using only one set of ingredients. Or is that just for E3/BoE?
