Problem w/ Kindle Fire version- demo to full game

I have been playing the demo version of Avadon for the Kindle Fire for a few days and I really love it. So, when I ran up against the wall (demo demon?) I decided I wanted the whole game.

 

The Amazon site says that it is possible to load the full game without losing your progress in the demo, but I have no idea how to do that and there is no information either in the game or anywhere else I can find. So, I bought the full game and was resigned to running through the beginning again, but now the full game won't load. I get a message saying it can't find the Avadon "data" file. I did not delete the demo first, thinking I might still have a chance to save my progress.

 

I just want to know what to do to play the full game. If I could keep my demo progress fine, if not, I can go back through all of that pretty quickly.

 

Please let me know what to do to get it working on my Kindle.

Saved games should be stored in a different place than the game itself. So switching from demo to full game isn't your probem with the saved game.

 

It sounds like a game file wasn't installed in the full version. There are several data files contain information and one is missing. Try reinstalling the full game.

 

I haven't used a Kindle Fire version so I don't know the differences from the computer versions.

Thanks. I think the problem may have been that I had the demo loaded when I installed the whole game. I uninstalled both and re-installed the full game and it plays fine. I had to start over, but I always find that replaying the beginning after getting the hand of the game isn't a bad idea anyway.

yea restarting means that you know what's ahead and can prepare better for that.
