Avernum 3 - Stuck at Rentar-Ihrno's Keep

Okay.

 

It goes like this:

 

I have activated practically every control panel that can unlock the control panel that unlocks the porticullis (on the room north of where Rentar is) which gives me access to the trap door with the last 2 control panels. But yet the panel still says that it's deactivated and I can't open the porticullis.

There are 11 control panels, are you sure you have found all?

I only need to know how to open the porticullis in the top-center part of the keep so I can activate the last of the control panels.

From Relle's A3 walkthrough (http://faqs.ign.com/articles/524/524642p1.html):

 

Make your way to the northeast corner of the map. On the way you'll pass

Rentar-Ihrno's chambers, which you should enter because it's here you'll find

the sword Demonslayer. Don't know how she got it, but it's Avernum property,

so reclaim it. Find the large room filled with lava that's north of the center

of the map. You should spot a control panel in the southeast corner there.

What you want to do is go to the room south of that control panel and examine

the panel in that room to raise a porticullis that's just east of the north end

of the map. Do so, then climb down the trap door it was guarding.

 

If you see an Alien Slime, you're in the right place. There's quite a few of

them, plus there's some Dark Wyrms nearby. The Alien Slime was a tough cookie

at the beginning of the game, but at this point you should be hitting them for

nearly 200 damage a pop. The Dark Wyrms require the same strategy as before:

get in close and hope they don't abuse their breath weapon. There are two

control panels here. Press the buttons, then go back up.

Found it. And finished the game (making it the first Spiderweb game I have finished).

Hi guys, I had a question. In the keep of Rentar-Ihrno I'm in the lower level, trying to click the control panels, but some of them seemed to be blocked by lasers? Like the northeast one. Am I missing something to have turned it off?

oh nevermind, I had to start most of the dungeon over again because I didn't go to the first curtained control panel first. It put a laser beam there that I couldn't cross. Sighh. Problem solved.
