A code problem

HTML code, BBC code, IMG code, Email/IM code, neither does work for me in my signature. Is this supposed to be or am I doing something wrong?

They're turned off to prevent abuse.

Pictures are turned off in signatures because they tend to be large and annoying. They're disabled in the bodies of posts because Spiderweb had a rash of people posting horrific images at rates that were rather hard to deal with. The better solution was to prevent images altogether.
