I seem to be blocked from places that demand a stronger power of Dispell Barrier higher than 3. I have 3 and the barriers complain that I need a higher level. Is there really a level 4 to be had somewhere (like where?) or is it secret code meaning I don't have some important component? My main mission seems to be stuck so I'm thinking these barriers may hold more information. Thanks in advance. Also thanks for a great game!! v1.0.1 -

Hi, I've been wondering, what sort of beasts can I get with each level of Arcane summon? Also is there a way to categorize (non unique) enemies in Blades of Avernum in terms of difficulty? For example I know from experience that your low level parties will able to handle rats, goblins and zombies and skeletons easily, but not lava bats, fire lizards and slimes etc. I was wondering if there was a chart for those sort of things.

What is the most powerful spell in BoE in your opinion and why? Please try to vote in the poll. It isn't hard, and can give me an overview of this stuff while your posts give me a good analysis. I can tell right now that the BoE community is extremely small.
