Well I'm playing Avadon 2, didnt play 1 and the only game I've played from spiderweb was the avernum saga, so it's a little different game. My problem is that by pressing either G or I does the exact same thing(open the inventory), where in avernum using the G key highlighted the things on the screen. Another thing, is there anyway to use the I key to close the inventory and not having to use the escape? This is a problem I had on avernum too..it's just really annoying to constantly switching and clicking on the Ok/Cancel or using the escape key! Thanks in advance PD: sorry if this is the wrong section to post this

Never played olders avernum games but I was expecting to need food (the food in the game is practically useless later on) and rest in the town to get back my health dont get me wrong the game is not easy even on normal but those are some things you expect in this kind of games. I really like the game so far

Hello everyone I'm new in the world of avernum, recently i bought this game and so far is very good One question that I have is, this special pedestals that gives you some improvement in some of the spells, how do they work? I touch them and they say something like, read the scroll bla bla to improve your health spell, so nothing happens after that and my spell is still called the same nothing changed and the amount of healing i do is the same as before, I'm i doing something wrong or what? Oh and another question the 6 crystal that i need are the blue ones or what kind of crystals need to the cave in the first part of the game?
