  1. Yep, and that's probably the only place in the game where the Create Food spell is useful. The conjured food disappears immediately. But if you cast Create Food while on the square right before the Want to rest? trigger, it works.
  2. Thanks much! Now I'm wandering through all the Annwn zones, regretting that I didn't make more Energy Draughts!
  3. Thanks for responses. I just got Glorious Recovery from the Burial Glen, which resurrects even stoned or dusted characters. Unfortunately, it must be cast in town. I didn't see a way to grant a spell with the character editor. Will look again.
  4. I still don't have the Raise Dead spell. My characters are level 21 and I think I'm fairly close to the end of the game. I did not give the stones to Samael at the Vale of the Sould. I gave them to the Rose Lady in the Hollow Hills. And I let Samael go at the end of the Vale of the Sould. So apparently I can't get the spell there. And I also--foolishly I suppose--only did about 2/3rd of North Aethdoc before killing Lord Relatur and zipping back to the south. Now I can't get back in so I can go to Iltanor's lab. 1. Is there another way to get Raise Dead (even if it includes cheating)? 2. Better, is there any way to get back into North Aethdoc at this point? Thanks for any help! P.S. At what level do people usually finish this game? I'm sure an awful long way from the top Spirit spells.
  5. Oh good grief. Thanks so much for your help. I'd actually seen the other block, but didn't have the brains to put 2 and 2 together. With 3 tiles smashed, I was able to get past the golems and then, finally! bet Titus and his snake minions. I love this game.
  6. Thanks much. I've smashed three of the tiles. Two I can't reach yet because I don't have the magic skills for my Break Barrier and Sever Seal spells. I can probably get past three of the stone golems. But I hate to miss a puzzle. N:R is really an ingenious game.
  7. Thanks for quick response. Unfortunately, that did not work. I left the dungeon, rested a night, and when I return the pushable block is still in the corner. Apparently I can only push it from two directions (its S and E) and I just get the message "You don't have anywhere to push the block to." Did the puzzle start that way? Am I missing something obvious?
  8. I've been an avid gamer, especially RPGs, for 30 years, so it's hard to believe I didn't hear of Jeff Vogel until this year, from an article in PC Gamer. So I played Avadon, then Avernum 6, and now Nethergate: Resurrection. So far I like Nethergate the most. It's really one of my all-time favorites. But I've just run into a problem. I went off about level 10 to the Circle Warrens, figuring that must be the place for Cormac's tunnel quest. I'm playing as the Celts, no cheating. I cleared everything, except the final Naga summoned by Titus. After about 8 tries, I figure I'd come back later. (Incidentally, I don't remember fighting the stone golems in the room before Titus.) So I'm back at lvl 13. And I'm stuck on those six golems. Just can't beat them. So I figure from some walkthroughs that I need to go smash tiles. So I'm off to smash the six tiles. Here's my problem. In one room you have to push a pushable block onto a floor tile in order to open the gate to the tiles that need smashing. Unfortunately, I was moving too fast and accidentally pushed the block into a corner (as you face the gate, the corner to the left of the gate). And my only save before this point is about 8 days ago! Is there any way to pull that block out of the corner? Is there any way to edit the save to reposition the block? I hate screwing up a puzzle like this!
