Tip for those who played the demo of Avernum 4 on win7-64bit - the demo savefiles for me were located at the following path (substitute your own username where appropriate): C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Avernum 4\Data I think this is the location win7-64bit writes to when an application attempts to write to a folder it doesn't have permission to write to (i.e. it is a hack windows implements to maintain backwards compatability). It took me a while to find them so I hope that this will save someone else the effort.

It's working for me too now. Thanks for sorting it as I had just started to get the messages saying that you are reaching the end of the demo.

Thanks for the info Tamren. I just hope that the fix comes before I finish the demo...

Just thought I'd add that I am having the same problems with the steam version of Avernum 4 (win7,64-bit) I've downloaded the demo and that seems to work fine. I know that (or at least assume that) Spiderweb and Valve are working on a fix but could someone confirm that the save games from the demo will work on the full version.
