i was playing on torment and even after lighting the maze those nether beasts kept rushing past my fighters to one hit my support dudes! it happened like 10 times! i stand by my initial post! it was obnoxious1

Hi I just replayed nethergate for the first time in 5 years and it made me want to post a maze of thorn threads. the maze of thorns at the end of the game is pretty obnoxious. whelp, thats my thread.

just noticed the typo in the topic name, it should say blades of avernum, im not actually trying to load my avernum party into blades of exile as that would be dumb as hell

Hey. I redownloaded avernum 3 and boa to give them a replay after like 5 years and i'm about half way through avernum 3. i just tried loading my avernum 3 party into boa and it says the save isnt a valid avernum save. I remember being able to play boa with avernum parties back when i last played through these games, am i doing something wrong or am i misremembering? Thanks, sorry if this is the wrong place for this, it looks like its mostly scenario reviews in here now, but i wasnt sure where else to ask

demos pretty short, i ordered the full version before starting it so i wouldnt have to wait for the key to keep playing but i finished the starting zones too quick feels like it might be the best geneforge game yet though, maybe even better than most of the exiles other than 3

Is there a way to change which keys scroll the screen? it's the arrow keys by default, but i'd rather use WSAD to. I dont see an option for that in the key setting menu in preferences however. Is this possible?

yeah it seems like a better idea but its also a couple extra steps so im going to try emulation first actually thinking back my desktop probably has an amd processor do you know if they're still incompatible with setting up a hackentosh its been a while since ive followed developments

and if this doesnt work im going to reformat my old desktop pc and turn it into a hackentosh running that hacked version of leopard just to play geneforge early and show you smug mac nerds whats up heck yeah

I'm hoping a retro rpg like geneforge wont be too resource intensive I found an open source powerpc emulator and instructions for getting osx working, if no one else has tried this I'll give it a shot and report back v^_^v http://www.windowsdevcenter.com/pub/a/windows/2005/01/18/PearPC.html

Where do you stand to get the chasm bats to come out for the hunting quest in muck? I walked through the areas without paying attention to the popups and now I can't figure it out after I've come back

Where is it safe for me to dump my extra stuff so I dont have to carry it? I'm thinking the portal building would be convinent but in most spiderweb games I've played portals explode a lot, so I dont want to accidentally lose all my focusing crystals when that happens. Any ideas?

Is there a safe amount of cannisters you can use before your dialog options start changing and you get a worse ending? I'm playing through as a shaper-aligned lifecrafter and havent used any cannisters yet, and i was wondering if it was safe to use one or two without changing the game at all
