Where is the fun in it after all? I had about 10 of those icky looking 'fresh' meat green arms. He took them and was pleased.

Does a 'square' mean where each character is standing or 'one square patch of screen'? I have a lot of stuff in the Mage Tower Pylon room. Hate to have it disappear...

Someone in the Mage Tower will pay for them, can't recall name at the moment. I think it is a quest, like the sack and wine one's are. edit: oops, someone answered it already, and it was the castle not the tower.

  5. Yes, add more Pylons..at least a few more, one being Patricks Tower. And to add to those pushing Eschalon, add me to the list. Play the demo's and if you want to buy, start with Book II. There's been added content to make the playing longer and tougher places to go through. Loved both games and patiently waiting for Book III to come out.
  6. Hummm...I guess I'll go search the area and see what happens. edit: Didn't get a chance to check until late this evening. Discovered I had missed an encampment way to the west near the corner where the river goes north. After killing them off the quest disappeared.
  7. I, too, have accidentally 'used' potions with a character or two. Usually when I'm transfering them or moving them around in my 'backpack'. Very annoying especially when it is last one to be had for the time being. Oh well, I'll just have to more careful.
  8. I didn't have that happen to me in a similar situation. I forgot to take all the bulletin board notices the first time I was in Cotra and wander off to do other quests. On the way back I found the Nephil encampment and wiped them out. Came back into town and spoke to the secretary and got reward for it! Then went to bulletin board and 'quest' still there. Took it and Paul won't clear it, nor wandering around killing kitties will clear it. Stuck with it even though I finished it. I would think if you found a quest by random chance and got rewarded, the 'notice' would disappear off the boards. shrug.

I've found one person so far that looked like you could add him but he changes his mind when he looks at our battle scars. I think it was the youth in Silvar who helps the boat builder or it was in Cotra. I haven't seen anyway to leave a character behind to leave space for finding someone to ask. Looks like that part of the game is gone too. Sigh.
  11. It works fine, so far, on my Mac OS 10.4. The only thing that's odd or out of whack is the little scene pic when you click on the journal. The pic in the upper right corner is all pink! Not needed so haven't reported it or investigated to see If I could fix it on my end.
  12. I discovered that too. It really made me mad at the time that I couldn't 'use' the 'gain experience' crystal from the Statue. Figured out what happened a bit later.
  13. I just met him last night. Outside of the abandoned farm house NE of the farmer who gives you a quest to get rid of Wretchs who steal his cows, Kva lands map. The abandoned farmer house (I think) is on the other side of the river to the north.
  14. Oops, I couldn't remember how to spell the long version of the Sliths and your correct it was the cat folk you had to get a key from. There is so much to this game its hard to keep track.
  15. Okay, let's see.. the rats tails are found in three places. You have to leave and wander around and then come back to see if another rat has been generated. Shutting the door/gates when you leave helps I found. It takes time..which can be annoying. The missing shipments..one is very hard to find and I stumbled across it just by chance. (not having seen the world map at the time). One is near the bridge by the fort. One is near the lizardman camp you have to get a special key from before heading to Fort Draco. The third and hardest, I thought, is just a bit south of where the road curves to go east to Fort Draco.
